The 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL was scanned using the Creaform MetraSCAN Black Elite. The scan data is very detailed with a full undercarriage and rear compartment. This scan data is very accurate and perfect for companies that make aftermarket parts for Jeeps or are looking for the rear envelope for their designs.

Additional modeling can be completed at an additional cost

Our Vehicle Scans are provided in STL format. Prior to purchasing a Vehicle Scan, it is important to ensure that you possess the necessary tools and experience to work with Scan Data. It is worth noting that our scans may exceed the limitations of most of the software listed below. As a result, in many cases, the scans can only be used as a Graphical Body, providing a visual reference for your project. To avoid any issues, we strongly recommend that you download our FREE Sample and confirm that you have the required capabilities to work with the files before committing to any of our packages. Kindly note that once the files have been delivered, all sales will be final and no refunds will be issued.

Software	Limitations
SolidWorks	- STL Files can only be imported as a Graphical Body and be used as a reference. - Limited to importing mesh files under 500,000 triangles (Our scans average from 500,000 to 1,500,000) - Additional Information can be found here.
Autodesk Inventor	- STL Files can only be imported as a Graphical Body and be used as a reference. - Additional information can be found here.
Autodesk Fusion360	- STL Files can be imported and slightly modified. - Some tools may be unavailable due to the complexity and number of facets in the scan. - Additional information can be found here.
SketchUp	- STL Files can be imported into SketchUp. However, our scans are too complex and too big to work in SketchUp. - Additional Information can be found here.

The Vehicle Scans available for download are very accurate 3D Scans that can be used for aftermarket design projects, accurate and proper fitting of designs and components etc.

However, as the Vehicle Scans are STL files, do not purchase a Vehicle Scan unless you have the necessary tools and experience to work with Scan Data. In order of cost and capability, we offer Geomagic Design X, widely known as the "fastest path from scan to CAD", Creaform VXmodel, which is an excellent hybrid modeling solution for extracting features from the scan data, and Geomagic for Solidworks or Xtract3D which are both highly functional plug-ins for Solidworks. Both Design X and VXmodel have the ability to transfer features and a feature tree into Solidworks, Inventor, and other CAD packages. These products vary in capability and price but each of them will make working with scan data for design and modeling purposes easier, faster, and more fun.

Rapid3D can provide in-depth demonstrations as well as trial versions if you are interested in taking your design process to the next level.
General

This is a license between the user (“You”) and Rapid 3D Ltd. Use of the products obtained on this web site (“Products”) is conditional upon your agreement to the terms and conditions set out below. Ownership

All title and all intellectual property rights and distribution rights in and to the Products remain exclusively with Rapid 3D Ltd, and this agreement does not transfer ownership rights in or to the Products.

Restrictions

You may not re-sell the Products or any or derivative scan or data in any format.
You may not make copies of the Products in any manner.

Other

Rapid3D provides the Products “as is” and liability of Rapid 3D Ltd will be limited to the purchase price of the Products.
Rapid3D does not warrant that the use of the Products will be uninterrupted or error free, and makes no warranty regarding the fitness of the Products for a particular purpose or that the Products will be suitable or appropriate for your requirements.
