June has been a milestone month at Rapid3D. We were honored with a 10-Year Membership Award from AMC Canada, connected with industry leaders at the GRIT Conference in Edmonton, and continued hosting personalized open houses to showcase the power of 3D scanning.

This month, we’re diving into van life—literally—with our growing collection of 3D scanned vans and custom Model Packs, helping designers like Redpoint Conversions create stunning, functional interiors with precision and ease.

Designing for a Ford Transit? Our latest vehicle scan is here to streamline your upfitting or outfitting process.

What’s included in the scan:

✅ Full exterior scan

✅ Complete interior cargo area scan

✅ Doors in open & closed positions

✅ Undercarriage detail

✅ High & low resolution STL files (in millimeters)

These scans are ideally used as a design platform using scan based modeling tools such as Creaform Scan to CAD or Geomagic Design X but are also excellent visual references and can be imported as graphical bodies into most CAD software. Before purchasing, we strongly recommend testing your setup with our FREE sample scan to ensure compatibility.

Rapid3D's relationship with the Van Outfitting community continues to grow as does our inventory of van scan data for upfitting and outfitting purposes. The response that we have received from the community has been outstanding and motivating. To see the spectacular designs and quality of workmanship coming from our customers is humbling.

One such customer whom has been very generous with access to vans and their facility is @wildernessvans in Lethbridge Alberta. Wilderness Vans uses the latest in 3D design and manufacturing technologies to enhance the design process and create amazingly capable vehicles.
