2020 Ford F-550 Chassis Cab Scan. 3D Scan was done with the Creaform MetraSCAN Black Elite. The scan data includes the truck body and a detailed scan of the chassis rails, suspension components, bolt hole locations, and pick-up points. This data is ideal for companies that need to design components and aftermarket bodies for the back of the Ford F-550.

  • Our Vehicle Scans are provided in STL format. Prior to purchasing a Vehicle Scan, it is important to ensure that you possess the necessary tools and experience to work with Scan Data. It is worth noting that our scans may exceed the limitations of most of the software listed below. As a result, in many cases, the scans can only be used as a Graphical Body, providing a visual reference for your project.     Software Limitations
    SolidWorks

    - STL Files can only be imported as a Graphical Body and be used as a reference.

    - Limited to importing mesh files under 500,000 triangles (Our scans average from 500,000 to 1,500,000)

    - STL Files can only be imported as a Graphical Body and be used as a reference.

    Autodesk Fusion360

    - STL Files can be imported and slightly modified.
    - Some tools may be unavailable due to the complexity and number of facets in the scan.

    SketchUp - STL Files can be imported into SketchUp. However, our scans are too complex and too big to work in SketchUp.
