This is a foundational deliverable that provides aligned 3D scan data in an
.STL format. It's best for teams that don't need CAD modeling but require accurate digital geometry for archiving, referencing, or working directly in mesh-based workflows.
Description: This is the first step in the process, providing a basic mesh of the part. Since most traditional CAD software can't directly edit this data, you'll need to consider higher-level options if that's a requirement.
Best For: Archiving, creating reference geometry, or for teams who work directly with STL data.
Options: You can add color to the scan data or get a watertight mesh for an additional cost.

Level 1 - Autosurface Model
Price Point: $
This deliverable provides a shrink-wrapped surface model in a .STEP format that captures the external geometry of your scanned part. It's a true scan-to-CAD model without applying reverse engineering principles.
Description: This model is ideal when you need to represent the shape of the part without precise, editable features.
Best For: Envelope fit checks for new designs, preserving art or sculptures, or creating molds and castings for complex, organic parts.
Options: We can provide more specific surfacing requirements for an additional fee.
