Scan data and STEP model for the North American manufactured 2020 Sprinter 2500 High Roof 170” WB 4x4 Cargo Van (Bumper to Bumper Length 274.3"). Scan data coverage includes the complete interior and exterior body as well as full undercarriage. CAD data (STEP surfaces) is limited to the rear cargo area. Scan files include high- and low-resolution meshes (STL) of the body and doors and are segmented and are aligned for convenience. The STEP model file is created in an as-built manner from the scan data and includes most major surfaces and features required for upfitters to design components to.
 
The CAD modeled area is simplified to only the major features. Rapid3D recommends utilizing the included mesh file for fine details such as the location of factory mounting holes. This is an as-built model utilizing Rapid3D acquired 3D scan data and Rapid3D makes no guarantee on the accuracy of the model compared to vehicles other than the one scanned. 
 
The 2020 Sprinter 2500 High Roof 170” WB Cargo Van. Is one of the most common vehicles for overland adventure camper conversions, and this scan data allows upfitters to fully utilize the available space, and minimize conversion time by eliminating manual measurements. The spare tire area provides design options for undermounted storage and tanks.
 
Additional modelling can be completed at additional cost.
 
Please note there may be some dimensional differences between a North American manufactured Mercedes Sprinter van and a European manufactured model.
